[3] April 29, 2009I turn off the hiway and begin the ascent up the Union Pass road and marvel at the snow now and then filtering down from the Douglas Fir, Engleman Spruce, Aspen and Willow. At times it creates a dazzling display of colored lights as it catches the rays of the rising sun.
