Wildflowers are blooming across the high country painting the land in its many colors such as this Indian Paintbrush.  The Wyoming state flower is a parasite with its upper reddish colored leaves its splashes of red are unmistakable.

    I've been lax in checking your blog - wow, how beautiful everything is - you do live in an amazing place and I enjoy seeing all of your photos. You could send some of that frost and cool weather our way - it's been in the 100's the past few days! hot, hot, hot! Take care.

    paintbrush is one of my favourites and the color variations I have been coming across lately are so pleasing.
