Yesterday my artist photographer grizzly hunting partner, Les Lefevre had to go to Jackson and enroute  encountered 6 different grizzlies.  Again seeing several of the same bears on his return trip so this morning we are both up at first light on togwotee Pass searching for the bruins.  Nothing. We searched most of the morning.  Glassing every nook and cranny.  Nothing.
The morning was not wasted though with spectacular country like this.  Even though it was a might nippy at 22 degrees F. And a breeze blowing.  Thick frost covered the ground
